Microsoft's 30 October announcement, signed by Krishna Madhavan, separates training preferences from use of content to ground generated answers. The new preferences begin taking effect on recrawl from 1 February 2027. Sites using the older NoArchive or NoCache controls need to follow Microsoft's transition instructions before 1 March; traditional Bing search eligibility remains separate.
