BigQuery Studio adds Git repository integration
Luka Cempre has flagged a new BigQuery Studio capability: Git repositories integration is now available in preview, providing direct integration to remote Git repositories. The setup requires enabling APIs, naming the repository, and authenticating with GitHub: within a few minutes, a GitHub repo is synced with BigQuery Studio.

Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means data engineering and analytics teams using BigQuery Studio gain a sanctioned Git workflow for SQL and notebook version control. Particularly relevant for teams where the previous workflow involved external Git tooling alongside BigQuery, with manual export/import cycles between the two surfaces.
