Claude Code integrates with Figma via MCP
Claude Code can now push prototypes directly to Figma using the latest version of Figma's MCP server. The integration allows developers to take a working prototype built in Claude Code and send it to a Figma canvas, enabling exploration of different design directions without branching code or rebuilding from scratch.

This video plays in the original LinkedIn newsletter.
What changed
The workflow bridges development and design environments, allowing teams to iterate on implementation and visual design in parallel. For organisations where design and engineering handoffs create friction, this provides a more fluid path between code and canvas.
