Claude launches a Slack integration with Claude Tag
Anthropic has introduced Claude Tag, a way for teams to work with Claude inside Slack, announced on its Claude account. Claude joins a workspace as a team member with access to the channels and tools an admin chooses, so users can delegate tasks by tagging @Claude with a request: writing or merging pull requests, running data analysis, and other work: while focusing on other things.
What changed
It brings agentic delegation into the place where many teams already coordinate.
For marketing and analytics teams, an AI agent that lives in Slack and can act on connected tools points toward delegating routine multi-step work without leaving the channel.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means teams on Slack can delegate tasks to Claude directly in-channel, with scoped access to tools. Worth a controlled trial on well-defined tasks, keeping human review on anything Claude writes or changes before it ships.
