Claude Opus 4.7 launches with stronger software engineering and cybersecurity safeguards
Anthropic has released Claude Opus 4.7, which is generally available across all Claude products, the API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Microsoft Foundry. The model delivers improved performance over Opus 4.6 in advanced software engineering: particularly for complex, long-running tasks: with better vision capability (more than three times the resolution) and higher-quality output in professional documents, slides, and interfaces.

What changed
A new real-time cybersecurity safeguard layer automatically detects and blocks requests that indicate prohibited or high-risk cybersecurity use. Pricing is unchanged at $5 per million input tokens and $25 per million output tokens.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means an improved Claude model for long-running marketing automation, reporting pipelines, and document generation: the self-verification capability and instruction-following precision are the most practically relevant improvements for PPC and analytics workflows.
