Muse has 10 million users in the US and Canada, and shopping is its main use
Mark Zuckerberg told investors that more than 10 million people in the US and Canada have set up Muse personal agents within six weeks of launch, about 25% use it on any given day, shopping including travel is the most common use case, with more than a quarter of users engaging in shopping and an average purchase above $200, and that Meta will "get paid a fee based on the transactions that we help facilitate" sooner than its usual playbook. A commerce agent with a fee model is forming inside Meta, so watch for how product feeds and ads connect to it.

What changed
What this means in practice
These are management disclosures about Muse usage and a possible transaction-fee model. They are not a new advertiser-facing product specification, and the figures should not be compared directly with reach or conversion metrics from an ads account. Registered users, daily activity and shopping activity have different denominators.
The commercial question is how a personal agent could influence product discovery and purchase completion. A transaction fee would create a different relationship from buying an impression or a click, but the earnings remarks do not define a merchant onboarding process, fee schedule or paid ranking mechanism. Those details should not be inferred from the usage totals.
For marketers, the useful response is to monitor where accurate product information is available and how completed orders are represented in retailer reporting. Keep agent-mediated commerce separate from campaign-attributed sales until a measurement relationship is documented. The newsletter highlights Juozas’s interpretation alongside the earnings transcript. Keep the company’s reported user totals, the proportion described as active, and the share described as shopping in their original context. None is a forecast of advertising return, and no new campaign setup or merchant fee is specified here.
