What changed

Status and access vary by capability

Claude Dashboards and Motion have entered beta, while Docs, Slides and Design have left beta and become available across plans. The grouped release has different access conditions: Dashboards is available on paid plans, while Motion is available on Team and Enterprise.

Anthropic’s examples include connected reporting with Dashboards and editable animated explainers with Motion. These examples show possible uses, but they do not establish that a particular connection, workflow or output will meet an organisation’s requirements.

Check administrative controls

Enterprise defaults differ, so teams should review administrator settings before assuming that a capability is enabled or ready for use. This is particularly relevant where connected reporting, shared documents or generated assets intersect with existing access and governance practices.

For the beta products, choose a bounded task, confirm the applicable plan and settings, assign a reviewer and record where behaviour differs from the intended workflow. Keep beta status visible when setting expectations with stakeholders.

Prepare for the standalone Design closure

Teams using standalone Claude Design should review Anthropic’s migration instructions before its stated 14 December closure. The date is a transition deadline for the standalone product, but it does not establish that every Design workflow has identical migration requirements.

The supplied evidence does not include full migration steps, pricing, regional availability, feature-parity details or a guarantee of output quality. Current official guidance and local testing are still required.

THE COLLECTIVE PERSPECTIVE

Why it matters for advertisers

The release combines beta and post-beta products with different plan and administrative conditions. Separating those statuses helps teams avoid assuming uniform access or maturity and gives standalone Design users time to prepare for closure.

What to check next

  • Confirm plan eligibility and Enterprise administrator settings for each intended capability.
  • Pilot one bounded Dashboards or Motion workflow with a named reviewer and documented acceptance criteria.
  • Review the official migration instructions for standalone Claude Design before 14 December.
