SynthID Detector is Google DeepMind’s verification portal for finding SynthID watermarks in supported media. It helps teams investigate whether an image, video or audio file contains a watermark from participating AI systems.

For paid-media teams, it can support asset provenance checks before reusing creative. Its result must be interpreted within its supported models and watermark coverage: it is not a universal detector of AI-generated content. A missing watermark does not prove that an asset is human-created or authentic.

Use the official portal for current access and file requirements, and Google DeepMind’s documentation for coverage and limitations: https://deepmind.google/models/synthid/
