Amazon Rufus gains the shopper's personalisation profile via "Tell us about you"
Ritu Java has identified that Amazon shoppers can now describe their style, hobbies, interests, and who they shop for directly in Rufus via a saved profile. The same search query produces a different product stack depending on the shopper's stated context.

What changed
Generic feature-only listings will lose visibility to product pages structured around use cases and specific audiences: bullets, A+ content, and backend keywords framed around who the product is for now feed the personalisation engine.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means auditing top ASINs for audience-specific framing: replacing generic feature lists with use-case-led language now that Rufus personalisation matches products to stated shopper identity, not just search terms.
