Amazon Rufus expands with Scheduled Actions for recurring shopper automation
Ivan Marynych has flagged that Amazon has added Scheduled Actions to Rufus, allowing shoppers to automate recurring shopping tasks, such as monthly product recommendations, alerts for new releases, and reminders for upcoming occasions. Shopper intent is captured once and reused for ongoing recommendations, eliminating the need for new searches.

What changed
Product visibility for the resulting recommendations is determined by the quality of the product data.
This builds on Rufus's expanding personalisation infrastructure: the "Tell us about you" identity profile (covered last week) and now-scheduled, intent-based recommendation delivery.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means brand visibility on Amazon increasingly depends on how well structured product data maps to recurring shopper preferences: bullet points, A+ content, backend keywords, and attribute alignment all feed the personalisation engine.
