AI News for Digital Marketers
Frederick Vallaeys connects AI developments to advertising workflows, from account controls to the business context behind campaign decisions.

Why read it
For advertisers deciding where AI can help and where account changes still need human review.
Audience & score
Public snapshotA snapshot of audience size and visible engagement, not a quality rating.
Where the figures come from
Checked on the official newsletter page. Counts can change.
The official series lists one published edition. Subscriber total was rechecked at the series header; the edition figures were verified earlier on the same day. A score can be calculated once three recent editions have complete public figures.
How the newsletter score works
An audience and engagement snapshot, not a quality rating. Version 1 combines up to 25 points for subscriber reach and 75 for visible edition engagement.
Reach = 25 × min(1, log₁₀(1 + subscribers) ÷ log₁₀(100,001)). Engagement = 75 × min(1, median((reactions + comments) ÷ subscribers) ÷ 1%). Add the components and round once. Reach is capped at 100,000 subscribers; median engagement is capped at 1%.
We use the three newest observed editions, all published within 90 days, and a snapshot no more than 30 days old. Missing or approximate counts, or missing exact dates, prevent a score. An edition under seven days old marks the score as an early snapshot. A viral edition alone cannot determine the median.
LinkedIn reactions include likes and other reactions. Comments can include replies; these are not unique readers, email opens or click rates. The denominator is the subscriber count when checked, not at publication. Age, cadence and platform differences limit comparisons. Private email metrics are not inferred.
Example: 10,000 subscribers and three editions with 40, 50 and 500 total reactions plus comments give a median of 0.5%: 20 reach points + 37.5 engagement points = 58 / 100. Choose alphabetical, score or subscriber order. These scores add no contributor leaderboard points.
