Google Creative Drop 2 combines campaign translation, product scenes and Gemini Omni 1.2

Written by Paid Media Collective
IN BRIEF

Google’s second Creative Drop highlights three holiday-production workflows: translating campaigns inside Google Ads, creating seasonal product scenes in Asset Studio, and generating video with Gemini Omni 1.2. The announcement’s page metadata is dated 5 November 2026.

What changed

Campaign translation supports 15 languages, including Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. Google recommends reviewing the translated campaign while it is paused. That review remains a substantive task: translated wording still needs to express the intended offer, price conditions and brand voice before activation.

For product images, Google describes combining existing photographs with seasonal prompts in Asset Studio. Its product team recommends supplying brand guidelines and several genuine product angles. This is a creative-production workflow, not evidence that a generated depiction is automatically suitable for every product or advertising policy.

The video portion introduces Gemini Omni 1.2 as an updated generation model with improved consistency and faster creation. Google describes horizontal, vertical and square outputs for YouTube and other campaigns. The announcement does not supply an independently measured speed or conversion benchmark, so those claims remain Google’s description of the model.

For creative teams, the useful planning question is where these workflows remove manual production steps while leaving approval responsibilities intact. Check translated offers, product details and the first seconds of generated video, and review each intended aspect ratio. A finished asset in the library is not the same as an approved campaign ready to run.

Google product managers Mindy Lin, Charles Boyd and Max Hagler provide tips within the unsigned announcement. Their contributions are retained in the source context rather than treated as a proven article byline. Existing campaign-translation and Asset Studio capabilities predate this roundup; the story covers the new Creative Drop and model update, not a first-ever launch of every included tool.
