Google Trends Explore page redesigned with Gemini-powered insights
Google has reimagined the Trends Explore page with Gemini capabilities to make it easier to find insights. When researching a topic, a new side panel automatically identifies and compares up to eight relevant search terms.

This video plays in the original LinkedIn newsletter.
What changed
For example, searching trending dog breeds will auto-populate terms like "golden retriever" and "beagle" for comparison.
The panel also suggests related ideas and Gemini prompts to explore further. Visual updates include dedicated icons and colours for each search term, increased comparison terms, and twice as many rising queries on each timeline.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means faster trend research for keyword discovery, content planning, and understanding seasonal patterns across your market.
