Apple Search Ads expands to multiple ad positions in search results from March 2026
Apple will make Search Results campaigns eligible for multiple ad positions starting in March 2026, with the rollout worldwide by month's end. Ads can appear at any position, but you can't choose or bid for specific spots.

What changed
Existing campaigns qualify automatically, with the same ad format used in any position, including optional deep links (iOS/iPadOS 18+).
About 65% of App Store downloads come from search, and top ads have conversion rates of 60%+ or more. This change lets paid ads appear between organic listings, increases competitors' slots on brand searches, raises brand defence costs, and emphasises relevance in ad placement. Overall, this expands inventory but may raise costs and impact organic visibility.
