Google releases Agent Skills for advertising and measurement
Google has launched a set of Agent Skills for Google Advertising and Measurement in its public skills repository on GitHub, announced on the Google Ads Developer Blog. Agent Skills are token-efficient, modular instruction sets that turn AI coding assistants into Google Ads and measurement specialists: for example, guiding an agent through setting up Google Ads API credentials and a client library inside an agentic IDE.

What changed
They follow the Agent Skills open standard, with each skill carrying a title and description that the agent uses to decide when to activate it.
It is part of Google's investment in AI-first developer tooling, giving agents curated context and best practices so they can complete integration tasks faster and more accurately.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means developers using AI coding assistants gain official, curated skills for building on Google's advertising and measurement APIs. Worth pointing engineering teams to the repository if they build agentic integrations, so agents work from Google's own guidance rather than guesswork.
