Performance Max adds product-level performance by asset group
Google has rolled out the ability to view product-level performance for a specific asset group inside the Performance Max Products report, flagged by Yash Mandlesha. Advertisers can now select an individual asset group and see how its products perform, rather than manually filtering and cross-referencing.

What changed
It makes questions like which products perform best under Search Themes, or which rely more on a particular data signal, far quicker to answer.
The addition continues this month's run of Performance Max transparency improvements, giving advertisers more granular insight into how products and asset groups interact.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means product-level optimisation in Performance Max becomes less manual, with per-asset-group performance visible directly. Worth using it to spot which products carry which asset groups, then structuring assets around the products that actually convert.
