Skai integrates Uber Advertising across eight international markets
Skai announced a direct integration with Uber Advertising in a press release dated 13 October. It names eight supported markets: Canada, Mexico, Chile, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Taiwan and Australia. The United States is not included in that list. Eligible brands and agencies can analyse, create, manage and optimise Uber campaigns through Skai.

What changed
The announcement describes a connection to Uber Advertising’s own technology, bringing the channel into Skai’s wider commerce-media workflow. Its claims about future intelligence, automation and deeper capabilities should be distinguished from the campaign-management functions described as available now.
This is a Skai-issued announcement carried by Marketing Dive’s press-release service. It is not an independently measured case study, and the executives quoted are spokespeople rather than established original reporters. The visible 13 October publication date takes precedence over the earlier date embedded in the page URL.
PMC’s assessment is that the immediate opportunity is operational: teams already using Skai may be able to manage an additional commerce-media channel with less movement between systems. That does not establish that the integration improves incremental sales or makes Uber suitable for every advertiser. Market availability and account eligibility should be confirmed before a plan depends on the connection.
For a first campaign, define which task the integration is intended to improve. That might be campaign setup, reporting consistency or coordination across markets. Compare the workflow with the existing process, including who can approve changes and how local teams retain the context needed to make sensible decisions.
Measurement should retain the channel’s own definitions alongside any cross-channel view. A consolidated dashboard can make data easier to access without making differently attributed outcomes directly comparable. Record the conversion definition, reporting window and commercial objective before using the results to move budget.
The useful next step is a bounded account-level evaluation in a supported market. Check the available controls, reporting and approval process, then assess the workflow against a real campaign brief. The release establishes integration availability; the business benefit still needs to be demonstrated in the advertiser’s own circumstances.
