Google Ads now supports passkeys for enhanced security
Google has published a help page confirming that passkeys are now supported in Google Ads as a passwordless, phishing-resistant login method. Passkeys are required for sensitive actions, including changes to user access and account linking updates.

What changed
Supported devices include Windows 10+, macOS Ventura+, ChromeOS 109+, Android 9+, and iOS 16+. Apple users must enable iCloud Keychain, and Bluetooth is required when signing in on another computer using a phone.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means account security can be strengthened without relying on passwords, particularly for MCC-level access changes.
