Local Services Ads expands direct booking from 20 to more than 500 partners
Google has expanded Reserve with Google support for Local Services Ads from 20 booking partners to more than 500. If a Google Business Profile already has an active partner booking link, Google can automatically enable it in the LSA and count completed bookings as paid leads.

What changed
Ginny Marvin's official source post describes an expansion of Local Services Ads booking support from 20 Reserve with Google partners to more than 500. It says an active partner booking link already on a Google Business Profile can be enabled automatically in the associated LSA, allowing a customer to book from the ad. These bookings enter LSA reporting as paid leads, with controls available in the profile and budget settings described in the post.
The practical change is that an advertiser may gain a booking route without building a new connection manually. That makes the existing Business Profile configuration worth checking. An outdated provider link, inaccurate appointment availability or a booking journey for the wrong service could become more consequential when it is connected to paid lead generation. These are operational checks to make, not faults reported in Ginny's announcement.
A completed booking also needs a clear definition inside the business. The person managing media should know whether the reported event represents a requested appointment, a confirmed slot or a customer who later attends, and reconcile that with the provider's records. The source establishes how the lead is reported in LSA; it does not demonstrate the quality, attendance rate or value of bookings for any individual service business. More partner support is therefore an access change, rather than a guarantee of more profitable leads.
Why it matters for advertisers
Direct booking can give customers an alternative to calling, while shifting part of lead handling into scheduling software. Align the ad setup with the business's actual capacity and follow-up process before relying on the new route. A booking count becomes more useful when the team can connect it to fulfilled appointments and the value of the work.
What to check next
- Confirm which active Business Profile partner link is connected and test the customer-facing booking journey for the services being advertised.
- Check availability and ownership of booking follow-up, then reconcile sample LSA booking leads with the provider’s appointment records.
- Review partner controls if a link is unsuitable and compare completed, attended and valuable appointments when assessing the route’s commercial performance.
