Text disclaimers arrive in Google Ads assets for regulated industries
Google has added Text Disclaimers as a dedicated asset in Google Ads, flagged by Arpan Banerjee. Built for regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, insurance, legal, and gambling, the asset gives advertisers a compliance-specific way to surface mandatory disclaimer text.

What changed
When approved, the disclaimer is guaranteed to appear in every Search ad in the campaign without any pinning required, and it is fully compatible with AI Max, including Final URL Expansion and text customisation.
The asset is added at the campaign level through the Assets section inside the Campaigns menu, rather than during campaign creation. For advertisers who have had to wedge legal disclaimers into headlines or descriptions, it removes a long-standing tension between compliance obligations and automated copy.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means that advertisers in regulated verticals can meet disclosure requirements without sacrificing automation or burning ad copy space. Worth adding the relevant disclaimer as a campaign asset, so the required wording shows consistently while AI Max manages the rest of the creative.
