YouTube Creator Partnerships adds modelled reach metrics
The Analytics tab in YouTube Creator Partnerships now includes estimated reach for linked creator videos, accounting for viewing across devices and people watching together.

What changed
Google's Creator Partnerships help page describes a new reach-metrics group for linked creator videos in its Analytics tab. The figures estimate people reached and use modelling for cross-device viewing and people watching together. Google says the methodology matches YouTube Analytics. PPC News Feed explicitly credits Hana Kobzová with spotting the update, so her discovery credit remains separate from Google's ownership of the feature.
The reporting boundaries are unusually important here: unique reach can cover at most 92 days, with weekly or monthly time segmentation. A longer reporting window or an unsupported segment can produce a dash. That makes a blank-looking result a configuration issue to check before concluding that a creator generated no reach. The feature also depends on the relevant creator videos being linked to the advertiser's Google Ads account.
For a sponsorship review, use reach to answer how many people the content is estimated to have reached, alongside the existing measures of viewing and engagement. Do not treat it as a direct count of purchases or a guarantee that all exposed viewers noticed the brand. Nor should a team add separate period-level unique-audience numbers and assume the sum is a deduplicated audience: the same person may appear in more than one period. A consistent comparison requires the same date window and metric definition.
Why it matters for advertisers
This gives brands and creators a clearer basis for discussing exposure across devices, especially when a screen may have more than one viewer. The business value comes from agreeing on the question before exporting a number. A creator selection decision may need reach, relevant engagement and commercial outcomes together, while a delivery reconciliation mainly needs consistent reporting scope and sufficient time for data to settle.
What to check next
- Confirm the sponsored videos are linked, then use a reporting period of 92 days or fewer and a supported weekly or monthly segment.
- Agree the date range, video set and organic or paid scope with the creator before comparing exports. Keep the modelled nature of reach visible.
- Investigate a dash by checking the period and segmentation, and compare reach with the campaign objective instead of using it as a substitute for conversion evidence.

YouTube Creator Partnerships adds modelled reach metrics.
The Analytics tab in YouTube Creator Partnerships now includes estimated reach for linked creator videos, accounting for viewing across devices and people watching together. Google uses the same methodology as YouTube Analytics, but unique reach is limited to periods of up to 92 days and can only be segmented by week or month. For you, this means a more useful reach discussion with creators, provided both sides use the same dates and definitions.
