Google ad sightings include four AI Mode ads and new link treatments
Three Google advertising screenshots reported between 2 and 5 November show changes to ad presentation: four text ads beneath an AI Mode answer, a Visit site link on sponsored results and blue website URLs. The coverage credits Sachin Patel for the observations.

What changed
These are separate sightings, not a single announced redesign. The four-ad example concerns the block beneath an AI Mode answer. Search Engine Roundtable notes that four text ads are not new to classic Search, which has displayed that number since 2016. The distinction is the observed AI Mode context, rather than the number alone.
PPC News Feed subsequently reported the Visit site wording and the blue URL treatment. A previous button variant had appeared earlier in the year, so the November report should not be presented as the first-ever appearance of a link that sends someone to the advertiser’s site.
The screenshots establish what those results looked like. They do not identify the size of a test, the participating countries or an account setting that enables the design. There is no evidence here that bidding logic, advertiser eligibility or the destination URL changed along with the visible label.
For a search team, these examples are useful when reviewing how ads are actually presented beside an answer. Record the query, date, device and market when capturing a similar result. Keep presentation checks separate from a performance diagnosis: a screenshot of a different layout cannot explain a change in conversions without supporting campaign data.
The accompanying image shows the four-ad example reproduced in Search Engine Roundtable. It should not be used to imply that every AI Mode answer now contains four paid placements. The other two observations remain linked individually so readers can inspect their different contexts. The reporting dates describe the sightings in the reviewed coverage, not verified start dates for Google’s experiments.
