AI Mode ads expand to ten more markets; UK expansion is planned for Q4
Google is expanding AI Mode ads to Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Singapore, alongside US ads in multiturn conversations. Brazil, Mexico and the UK are planned for Q4; that is a plan, not a guaranteed activation date. Google's help page distinguishes directly commercial queries from contextual matching, with different keyword eligibility.

What changed
Check eligibility, negatives and landing-page relevance against the documented matching rules. The announcement does not establish how much AI Mode traffic any individual account will receive.
The market list matters because a geographic announcement and an account's eligibility are different things. An advertiser serving one of the ten named countries can review the relevant campaign and keyword requirements, but should not describe the planned UK, Brazilian or Mexican expansion as already available. Multiturn ads in the US are another part of the announcement, with their own context.
Google's documentation separates an explicitly commercial query from a contextual opportunity within a broader conversation. That distinction affects how a keyword can qualify. Review the actual help-page conditions rather than assuming that an existing exact-match keyword will qualify for every conversational placement. A query that mentions a product is not, by itself, evidence that an ad should have served.
A useful account review records the targeted market, campaign eligibility, applicable keyword matching and the destination being promoted. Check exclusions and destination accuracy against the conversation a customer might be having. Keep any observed change in traffic separate from the announcement: this source does not supply account-level impressions, costs or incremental conversions.
The final newsletter credits Dario Zannoni for the documentation observation and Maximilian vom Eyser for the visual, while Shashi Thakur is the signed announcement author. Those contributions are different. The 28 October date locates the announcement; it is not a guarantee that every eligible account changed at the same moment.
