Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands prompts move to general availability
Amazon is moving Sponsored Products prompts and Sponsored Brands prompts from open beta to general availability in the US on March 25, 2026. Prompts are an AI-powered enhancement that automatically surfaces relevant product information to shoppers during their journey.

What changed
The system uses first-party signals from detail pages, Brand Stores, and campaign data to engage shoppers at key decision moments. Campaigns are automatically enrolled without additional setup. As prompts move to GA, Amazon will begin charging for them under CPC bidding and billing. Advertisers can pause individual prompts via the Ads Console.
Why it matters for advertisers
For you, this means reviewing your prompts in Campaign > Ad Group > Ads > Prompts tab and understanding that these will now be charged placements.
