Google documents Search and PMax eligibility for Conversion Lift
Google lists Search and Performance Max as supported Conversion Lift campaign types. Account eligibility and the requirement to contact a Google representative still apply.

What changed
Conversion Lift is designed to measure incremental conversions, site visits, or other actions directly driven by advertising. The documentation sets baseline conditions for a user-based study: at least 1,000 observed conversions, excluding conversions with supplementary data, a minimum campaign budget of $5,000 USD, and at least one compatible conversion action. It identifies Search and Performance Max as supported types, while noting that iOS-targeted App campaigns and Travel Ads are not supported.
Campaigns can participate in only one lift study at a time, whether the other study is Brand Lift, Search Lift, or Conversion Lift. Google also describes feasibility, or study power, as an estimate of the likelihood that a study can measure causal impact. The estimate reflects factors including selected conversion actions, daily budget, study duration, traffic split, account-level historical campaign data, and estimated lift. Google presents 90% or greater certainty as the target for more reliable results, while results between 50% and 90% may be directional.
This is a report on documentation checked on 7 October 2026, not a verified launch date. The page still says the feature is unavailable to some accounts and asks advertisers to contact their Google representative. PPC News Feed credits Hana Kobzová with spotting the documentation; her original post and first-ever discovery priority have not been established.
Why it matters for advertisers
A supported campaign type is only one part of study readiness. Define the incrementality question before selecting campaigns, and distinguish a study of selected campaigns from a claim about the whole channel. The audience held back from ads also creates an opportunity cost to consider.
What to check next
- Ask your Google representative about account and campaign eligibility.
- Check observed conversion volume, study budget and compatible conversion actions; supplementary-data conversions do not count toward the 1,000 minimum.
- Check study overlap, duration, holdback and feasibility before committing the test budget.
