Google Merchant Center news and updates

Follow Merchant Center product-data, eligibility and reporting updates, with credited sources and practical retailer context.

Understanding the changes

Merchant Center updates can concern product data, account eligibility or visibility reporting. Use the dated stories to understand which surface is affected, then compare the requirements with your products and markets. Product visibility and paid campaign results should be assessed in their own context.

Before you act

  • Confirm which products, markets and reporting surfaces the source describes.
  • Review product-data requirements before changing a feed or account setting.
  • Keep product visibility observations distinct from paid campaign performance.
